Mac Lipstick Haul/Swatches

Here are my newest lipstick pick ups! I swear I own every pink lipstick from mac already and so i've decided to switch it up a bit and get out of my comfort zone. Everyone knows I love all shades of pink and matte finishes.. So I decided why not go nude or brown. AND i'm trying to stray from matte finishes. Two of the three are lustres. I love matte lipsticks because they're usually true to the color you see in the barrel and they last longer. Lustres remind me of lip butters, moisturizing and light on color but it's still build-able.

We also go around from high school to high school to show case in the mini expos the school puts together. Here is a picture of my makeup from Sheldon High Schools prom expo.

On my eyes, I am using all individual eyeshadows (customized eyeshadow palette) from Sidney Le. The numbers used are: #12, #15, #27, & #29. The glitter is Macs reflects in 'Pearl'. Eyeliner is Motives luxe precision pen. Lips are Wet n' Wilds 901B 'Think Pink'.

Motives Products used in todays look w/ review:

-Motives luxe precision eye line 'jet black' e/l
I seriously love this eyeliner. Possibly a new favorite! A dupe for this would be BH cosmetics Liquid Liner. The tip of this luxe precision pen is amazing. It glides straight on, dries quick, and does not crack after layering. Perfect for a night out of partying because even with a little sweat and water, this eyeliner wont budge or smudge!

-The Present for Motives e/s (all 4 colors used)

Highly pigmented but only thing is that the little gold dust you see in the eyeshadow itself does not go on when applied. Colors are gorgeous and perfect for everyday use (no little gold glitter needed! lol).

-Motives Custom Powder by Ngoc

When I first applied this, it was not the coverage I was looking for. With me, I always like med-full coverage because my skin has a lot of redness. But with it being a loose powder, I didn't expect much but for it to maytify my face. After about 5 minutes of this powder being on, it began to combine? sink? into my skin really beautifully. It gave me a natural and soft finish. Love that it does not look too powdery or feel too drying on my face. Just right (:

-The Present for Motives lip quad - the darkest color

My first impression was that this lip quad will be like any other sheer lip gloss.. But I was wrong! Its like a combination of lip gloss and lipstick. Its pretty true to its color, but its more of a lip gloss form rather than a lip stick. It is a little sticky but what lip gloss isnt? Lol. I'm not complaining! The colors are gorgeous.

-Motives brushes

Mineral Powder brush- Love that is has a flat top. I prefer flat top brushes for my powder over round fluffy brushes. Its super soft and silky. Similar to the elf foundation brush but the Motives one is a little smaller.

The #219- I love this brush as much as I love my Mac #217 brush! I swear it does some amazing things. It's well rounded and not too pointy.

Motives Cosmetics Haul/First Impressions!

I will be informing everyone about these lovely Motives products that I have recently received. These are just little swatches and product information. I was given a liquid eyeliner and a precision eyeliner. The precision eyeliner is more precise and it does not smudge after drying. The liquid is a little messier but its also glossy. Perfect for a cat eye and has the perfect brush to wing out your liner.

Amazing spring colors all in one quad. High quality.Very Pigmented. These swatches are swatched WITHOUT a base/primer.

-THE PRESENT FOR MOTIVES - Smokey Nights

This stackable palette is the whole package! I seriously fell in love with it at first swatch ;). This stack comes with a mirror, 4 shades of concealer, 4 shades of lip colors, 4 shades of eyeshadows, 2 blushes, and 1 translucent powder. The concealer is a little dark for me but I can still color correct with the lightest color. But I can also use the darker colors to contour.

The quality, pigmentation, colors. Its all so nice! As of now, I have nothing negative to say towards Motive products. I spoke with a Motives advisor, Ngoc. She was friendly, respectable, and funny! Ngoc is the one who sponsored me. She also does customized foundation. Meaning she can match your color and any special preferences. She is also located in Elk Grove/Sacramento.
